He has been a Corporate Controller for a large company in the wholesale distribution industry. In addition, Jason has owned and operated several small businesses throughout the West Michigan area for many years. This experience has helped him to understand the needs of small business owners. Jason also has extensive experience in helping small and medium sized businesses with their tax and accounting needs along with the preparation of individual tax returns. His background will be an asset in working with individuals and businesses to meet their long term financial goals.

Chris Brown, CPA, MBA

Chris Brown CPA MichiganChris Brown has extensive experience in industry and public accounting.

Chris has a Masters Degree in Business from Grand Valley State University. His professional career began within the not for profit industry as a controller and financial manager. He then advanced into a position with a publicly traded educational institution serving as the Director of Financial services at a local campus. His experience there taught him financial management skills that will be helpful to small businesses.

In addition, Chris has taught accounting and business management at the graduate and undergraduate levels for over 10 years. Having a heart of a teacher gives him the passion to communicate clearly and effectively to clients so they understand their financial situation. His diverse background and experience in industry and public accounting, the ability to listen, communicate and educate, gives him a unique perspective into the financial, tax and business needs of individuals and small business owners so they can pursue more of what they value.
